Aptos Labs, azienda impegnata nello sviluppo di prodotti e applicazioni sulla blockchain di Aptos, ha annunciato l'integrazione di Coinbase Pay, un prodotto offerto dal più grande exchange di criptovalute degli Stati Uniti sotto la guida di Brian Armstrong. L’obiettivo dell’integrazione è semplificare le funzionalità e stimolare la crescita della blockchain. 

Secondo l'ufficiale annuncio released on September 19, millions of the crypto exchange’s users will now be able to transact in the Aptos ecosystem with the new integration as the two firms seek to bring the next billion users to the Web3 space. Petra, the official crypto wallet released by Aptos, will be integrating with Coinbase Pay, allowing users to easily get APT and join the Aptos ecosystem.

“Coinbase’s easy-to-use fiat on-ramp that makes exchanging value within the Aptos ecosystem super simple whether you’re using Petra on your mobile device or browser. With global payment options from PayPal to direct checking, now you can get APT–your way,” read the announcement. 

The integration of Petra and Coinbase Pay has been described as the “next major step in Aptos Labs’ efforts to level up the web3 user experience,” allowing users to “add APT to Petra seamlessly through their choice of bank, debit card, credit card, and even their Coinbase account balance.”

Questo annuncio di Aptos è uno dei tanti degli ultimi mesi in cui le aziende stanno cercando di semplificare le proprie API e migliorare le proprie funzionalità per attirare nuovi utenti in un contesto in cui la liquidità nel settore delle criptovalute si sta prosciugando a causa di problemi normativi. 

È anche importante menzionare qui che Aptos annunciato the integration of tech giant Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service into the Aptos network, setting the stage “for exciting opportunities in web3 exploration and development.”

D'altra parte, come riportato in precedenza da Bitnation, anche Coinbase sta cercando di espandere la propria base di utenti e ha annunciato l'iniziativa integrazione del Bitcoin Lightning Network per gli appassionati di BTC. L'azienda con sede negli Stati Uniti si è unita ad altri scambi di criptovalute come Binance, Bitfinex e Kraken per offrire servizi Lightning Network agli utenti.
