Elrond rinomina MultiversX: si concentrerà sul Metaverse

Elrond (EGLD), a blockchain protocol that aims to offer extremely fast transaction speeds by using sharding technology to its users, has confirmed its transition to MultiversX and aims to offer a number of crypto, metaverse, and Web3 services to its users. Interestingly, the new venture of the Elrond Network will see the “technology ecosystem for the new internet, which includes fintech, decentralized finance and the Internet of Things,” work on new products that will be focused on the metaverse and related experiences as well. The first product that the rebranding of the firm will be xFabric followed by xPortal and xWorld.

“Incredible amounts of creative energy are being poured into multiple compelling metaverse visions. MultiversX is building the collaborative framework and composable toolkit to set up the stage,” said Benjamin Mincu, CEO and founder of MultiversX.

MultiversX’s (formerly Elrond) first product, xFabric, has been descritto come un modulo blockchain capace di pesanti personalizzazioni e pronto per l'implementazione in pochi minuti. Il secondo prodotto, xPortal, è stato descritto come una piattaforma per avatar metaverse con elementi finanziari e sociali, mentre l'ultimo prodotto, xWorld, è stato descritto come una rete di metaverses interoperabili.

“xPortal is a true SuperApp. The portal to the Metaverse. The home for your avatar. Everything finance. A debit card. Friends, chat and social. Accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world,” said Mincu.

I relatori della conferenza X Day.Paris, Jean-Noel Barrot, ministro francese per la transizione digitale e le telecomunicazioni, Sebastian Burduja, ministro rumeno per la ricerca, l'innovazione e la digitalizzazione, sono stati introdotti alla nuova tecnologia e ai nuovi prodotti. Erano presenti anche altri membri di spicco del mondo fintech e web3 per assistere ai nuovi prodotti e saperne di più sul rebranding di Elrond (EGLD).

Tuttavia, è anche fondamentale notare che il rebranding non influirà sul funzionamento di MetaverX poiché continuerà a sfruttare la blockchain di Elrond e il token EGLD continuerà ad alimentare la nuova piattaforma. Il token verrà utilizzato per mettere in sicurezza la rete tramite staking e nei prossimi mesi tutti i protocolli e lo sviluppo dei prodotti sulla blockchain verranno migrati su MetaverX terminando la procedura di rebranding.
